Hi,
i had a question for Sam: with the implementation of this new course would you advise to look a bit to what was done in Unreal 4 or can we dive into Unreal 5 without much knowledge of the previous iteration?
I’m not Sam (obviously) but I’d recommend using whatever engine the course is using unless you are already comfortable enough to use either version. Also, you don’t really need to look at UE4 first before UE5 unless you’re curious about some of the changes that were made. UE5 is essentially a large update to UE4 with some new major features added, not a complete deviation. Most of the core features of the editor are the same or similar.
