Trouble with high Bitdepth Eevee

I’ve turned on High bitdepth, and my scene is looking like this:

Any idea why?
Otherwise, without it, the render is pretty ok:

Not sure what going on. Eevee has a lot of options switched off by default.
All options are set on real world measurements!
Meaning your chessboard needs to be 40x40cm and scaling set to 1.
Also CubeSize is for spot, point and area lights. Cascade is for sun lamp.
Also mesh normals can be wrong
And maybe you’ve connected the wrong martial nodes to get a funky material …

So, lot can go wrong.

Probably need to show FedPete more info nodes settings etc. to fathom this out. He might solve it.

My approach is to use proper Cycles!

Restoring the default values might also help. Most variables boxes have a right click restore default values option.

It helps others if you give a full screenshot.
This can be done by Blender itself, via the ‘Window’ menu bar top left hand side. On that menu drop down is ‘save screenshot’.

Yes,! as FedPete mentionned it as something to do with the CubeSize, which works at 2028px, not at 4096px:

my chessboard is 48x48cm and scaling set to 1
