I Applied the miorror of troll to fill up gaps at seams … but it didnt want to Auto mirror again afterwArds and the vertices dont seem evenly distributed over Troll body - ie Butt vertices are on the inside on the right ?

Have you moved the center, by any chance? Or have another mirror on the same axis (maybe disabled)?
I found myself without being able to apply auto-mirror but since I had forgotten to enable the symmetry at some point and then I did not want to lose the differences between both sides, I just went ahead with it without mirroring.

As you have applied the mirrors I would adjust the verts where they do not fit, with the shrink wrap still on.
Might be you had the mirror points slightly different but then it should have affected more elsewhere I suspect. So I suspect you may have slightly moved something at some point by hand.
