Tried to go outside my comfort zone on this one

I did this only with extruding techniques that we learned in this video. I always loved the Painted Ladies in San Francisco. They’re such beautiful buildings. So, I decided to challenge myself a little and try to make one.

I feel really proud of this one. I’ve only been doing Blender for a little over a week, and I was able to make something that looks like the picture. I spent about 10 or so hours on this. I had a ton of fun, and I can’t wait to learn more.

Edit: I did a little Google search to figure out how to color one object (I built this from one piece in edit mode, so it was making the WHOLE thing one color) I colored it in and added a few more details. It was fun and the color brings it to life a bit further.

You can have multiple colors in one object, you will learn that
