The course trello board is making great use of labels. I personally use a chrome extension called Trellabels that displays the label name rather than just the colour. It helps for easy content scanning so I though some others here might find it useful too.
Of course it’s only helpful if you’re using Chrome. I sadly don’t know a trick for other browsers and the mobile apps.

Quick question, despite installing and restarting Chrome, it doesn’t appear to be showing me the love. Can I ask, which version of Chrome are you using, and was there anything else you were required to do in order to use it?
heavy sigh - I had only to click on the label to show/hide the writing… lol… it has been a long day!

I’m glad you got it working. I was about to suggest checking you had the extension enabled, but that would be another “gotcha” as Ben says.
