Transparency in view port OK, render not



To be honest, on the black grass version, I did my own transparency trick. I didn’t follow Micheal’s solution. I thought, I can handle this. :wink:
But only the white texture map, with node transparency is rendered correctly. While others turn to black.
In view port material shading it’s ok. but not while rendering …

Followed the lecture on using the ALPHA channel as input of the TRANSPARENCY shader.
(I used the ALPHA channel directly as TRANSPARENCY … which doesn’t work when rendering).
(because its value isn’t transparent but 0 (black)).
LESSON 157 LEARNED the hard way … :wink:
