Been thinking about game physics lately and wanted to share some thoughts.

I’ve been playing The Spike Volleyball Story on Android and honestly the physics engine is surprisingly impressive for a mobile game!

What they got right:

:volleyball: Ball trajectory — realistic arc and spin on every spike

:person_running: Player movement — smooth directional changes without feeling floaty

:collision: Impact feedback — satisfying collision response when blocking

:bullseye: Timing windows — tight but fair, skill-based not RNG

As someone interested in game dev — I’m curious how a mobile team achieves this level of physics fidelity with such small file size! Anyone here studied mobile physics engines?
