You may try to render the animation in the background (Without the UI). To do so, execute blender from the terminal/console using the -b
flag. For instance:
blender -b filename.blend -a

Old man befuddled by this ‘just’ type arcane bits in.
A very useful way of doing things.
Other than my laptop, I have a machine with no gui, just a terminal interface but 12 cores and an insane amount of ram.
Plus, it’s located elsewhere.
I can upload a blend file to it, tell it to render and collect the result when it’s done.
