This was quite the detour, curious if anyone has answers

So, all my pins have had a lighting/shadow stuff already in them… but i noticed that when i placed a light behind it - I had a light reflecting from behind the camera… but there is no light behind the camera.

So, I looked that up to why that might have happened - and just couldn’t figure it out. I ended up changing the surface on the pins to be velvet, and it looks better.

The lighting seems to be better but I might have done goofed with the world or materials or lights or something.

That is weird perhaps there was some transparency? Light coming through?
Or simply a light you hid in the viewport but not the render!

So, I’m thinking it might be the floor? It is crazy reflective and that might be messing with the light source, given the low reflection on the pins:
