This has taught me many things


Most important of which is to apply your textures before you start duplicating things, took me forever to get the squares on the small boards to match at all with the squares on the larger boards. Also, in the future, a smaller board’s square textures will probably have to be a different but similar texture to the larger ones, as they apply differently in a lot of situations. That, or I messed up something and couldn’t figure out what. Either way, it’s looking good now!

Probably UV mapping size differences.

This is one of the problems going off course with a subject. There are ways to copy a material from one object to another, but it was not needed in this section. Gets covered later I think. Linking.

Still you worked through it and ended up with a very interesting version of a chess set.
