There is a slight problem with syncing in this video. When you are jumping, watching your character in the other window, and when they get very close to the floor they will seem to decelerate and float.
It looks like this is to do with the lerping. How would you fix this?

The only time i noticed this was around the 18 minutes 32 seconds mark in the video and i wonder if this is related to the way godot runs two instances of the game inside the editor.
I wonder if running built versions have the same issue and would be good to test that to see if it occurs there.
