The landscape looks like it's growing when I come near

This is quite interesting, Idk what it turned out like this

I think that’s just how the landscape tool works by default. The further away you are, the more Unreal collapses the vertices together, so there’s less to render.

If you switch back to the World Outliner, and click on the Landscape actor, then look in the Details window, there might be a section for LOD settings. I think the specific setting which would change how this works is the “LOD Distance Factor”.
