The Knight which said Ni

Hi everyone,

This was a tough challenge! I feel like I hampered myself using the subdivision surface modifier, as the low poly model that Mikey was working on looked simpler to work with for this challenge.

Here is the Knight model I ended up with.

I previously extruded a mane, but then went with a cube with an array modifier and fit to a bezier curve.

I also had a go at some eyes by bevelling and extruding a vertex, but decided to keep my knights smooth in the end.

I’m very impressed looking through everyone’s Knights!

Thank you for this little tidbit, as I never liked the way the mane turned out, no matter how many different times I played with it. Your method looks striking, and I’m definitely going to be trying it out. :grinning:

Thank you very much! BTW, what version of Blender are you using? I still have my Bender 2.79 installed, but also have Blender 2.93.6 installed, which I’ve been playing in lately so I can get accustomed to the newer UI, and where everything is now.
