The floor is gone!

Hello, I’ve been getting started on a 3D modelling for beginners course on Blender and am at a point where I am attempting to build a modular dungeon. It has been going fine so far but I keep having this same problem with my floor tiles : whenever I reopen the file (even after saving) or accidentally press the spacebar every tiled floor piece disapears and returns to the spot where I created them (I can see in the scene collection that they are still there but they are no longer where they are supposed to be). Nothing else changes. Is there any reason for this kind of thing to happen? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you accidentally keyframed animation on those tiles. By default, the spacebar plays animation in Blender.
Open the bottom panel a bit and select your tiles. If you see yellow dots on the timeline, that’s likely the issue. If so, set the animation back to frame 0 or the start, then delete those dots to prevent it from happening again.
But if that’s not the case, then u need to upload a screenshot so it would be easier to tell what’s going on.

General Q&A note

Help us all to help you.
Please give full screenshots with any questions. With the relevant panels open.
This can be done by Blender itself, via the ‘Window’ menu bar top left-hand side.
On that menu dropdown is ‘save screenshot’.
Also, if possible, include the lecture time and name/number that is relevant to the problem/issue.
