The edges of my dragon's claws look weird and I can't fix it, can you help?

Okay, so I feel like I’m already digging into a bunch of problems that pop up, but while I was working on the dragon’s claws, the ends of them are getting stuck in weird shapes, can you help me with that? I’ve been stuck like this for an hour.

And yes, I tried to combine Grab brush and Smooth, but it doesn’t work, it only reduces the claw and turns it into a different shape - then I use the Inflate brush which enlarges everything, then I have to do Smooth and the whole process repeats itself.

Try inflate or Blob Brush with low strenght.
Maybe a Remesh can help.

I’m tried, and they both don’t work.

I suspect you are at the limit of the available geometry. Try using dyntopo to add more as you change the shapes.

You do have to think how fine a detail is visible, you can easily have softer claws time the whole dragon is in any render.

Vertices and faces push in and out of each other.
Difficult to solve with tools, only manually zooming and fixing things (which is normal for a 3D artist). Rearrange verts and faces by moving, deleting and recreating them.
