Its coming around to that time when we think about doing a bit of DIY around the place. For this week, why not dust the cobwebs off the toolbox, or have a dig in that random drawer where all the tools are kept and show us a model of whats lurking in there.
Pick a tool and show us what you got. Remember it can be as simple or as complex as you feel.

Since there were no submissions this week i quickly threw this together…was only like a 20 min job…just to get the ball rolling for this weekly…ok i admit it …i did not find this ugly ****** in my tool draw but i did find a hammer which led me to look on the net for a cartoon character made out of a hammer i came up with this abomination haha I will probably use this model to practice animating and rigging…the independent parts would make it easy to make this guy move or dance or hammer something with his dumb head lol

@DrBane nice one, like the additional touch of how you displayed them on wall hooks as well. never thought about doing that, sweet.
Didnt have time to put much together myself as im offshore at work for a few weeks 
but managed to get a couple of hours free today and get this out for the week.

It’s not as adorable as @rszarka’s is, but here’s my hammer. With other things on the go this week it was all I could scrape together. Didn’t feel like stylizing it so I left it as is.
Drilling Machine, i didn’t wanted to spend too much time on it =x that’s why I haven’t added more details such as holes, wire etc.

Glad the weekly thread is getting some action ! This is an extremely **** extremely stupid quick 5 second animation i made of mr dumbass the hammer to practice using shape keys … no bones no rigs …just shape keys assigned to different pieces of the model…
i wanted to render it in cycles but it would take forever to render a noise free nice image so i thought that it doesn’t worth it although i set up everything

I use cycles on a pretty pants laptop. But since i started using emmisive planes (larger ones help) instead of normal lamps the fireflies have all but gone for what ive done so far
