This challenge showed me how important it is to repeat those beginner lessions over and over again… I caught myself thinking about keyboard shortcuts, “…oh wait… there was a trick for that…” and playing with GZ vs GZG and all that stuff…
Even if chess is not my favorite game, I appreciate the (forced, but very welcome forced) experience this project demands.

Developing well. Repetition and practice of the basic shortcuts soon makes them second nature.
