Textured Chess Board

I’m not sure if I like it better with the actual board part recessed into the frame yet.

Decisions, decisions … it can be difficult sometimes.

Do an ‘A-B’ test. Make two or three versions and ask the public.

thanks again, looking at it more closely in the daytime and I’m noticing the reflections look crisper in the second one too. Definitely going with it.

The next step for improved ‘looking’ is to work with material nodes, introduction to bump and normal maps. So that the wood texture can be seen. Be patient you will learn.
