Texture file is corrupted

I’ve downloaded spitfire+reference+and+texture.rar but I can’t extract it. A message is shown saying that the file might be in unknown format or damaged. Please help.

Since the other topic was closed I opened this.

.rar is a very standard compression format. Far less common than zip though, goodness knows why it was used. I suspect you may need to find some free utility that can read and decompress it, most unzippers do.

The most common I’ve ever found was WinZip, and I believe there’s a version that works on Mac computers too.

Just do a search for WinZip, and I’m sure you’ll get quite a few to choose from.

7Zip is free and does most popular formats.

Yes, that’s the one I use, but didn’t think it’s familiar enough (like WinZip), that folks would want to try it.
