Hi all! I’d like to share my idea for the Text-101 CROQ.
Theme: Stuck on Artemis Moon Base (imagine a Home Alone sort of scenario)
Who: James Clark, Systems Engineer 3rd Class
Goal: Survive long enough to be rescued.
Challenge(s):
- The long Moon night is about to begin
- Some modules in the base are about to fail
- The comms equipment needs to be recalibrated

I had just finished lecture 18, so I haven’t gone past yet, but I took some time to write out some dialogue. I’ll share one excerpt here.

“Crew Log: 20250603_0600_00058
Commander: Lisa Reynolds
Report: Early yesterday morning several EVA crews left Artemis to perform last minute excavations and scouting prior to Night 0012. All crews returned safely but crew 003 returned with a fatality. Systems Engineer 3rd Class James Clark experienced a puncture in his Nitrogen regulator which appears to have spiked his Nitrogen levels to fatal levels. He is comatose. We have been asked to evacuate the base given that it does not have sufficient life support for even a skeleton crew to survive given Night 0012’s anticipated intensity. As the exit craft is already intended to be strained, we have decided to leave behind Clark. We will perform a proper burial service for him when next we return in 16 days.”
- Return to the main menu in the Comms terminal
- Close the Comms terminal and begin a walk around Artemis Base.
