Ah well, here I am trying to learn blender while recovering from a broken elbow, which means I will have only one hand available for the next month. The biggest problem so far is panning which requires shift+ mmb.
Any suggestions on how to tweak the settings so that panning can be done single handedly ?
you could try turning on sticky keys which will allow you to press the shift and it would be locked on until you hit the shift key again.
