I’d like to try create a laptop in Blender, but have no idea where to find good quality orthographic plans to work from. If anyone has any ideas or info (is there a site repository somewhere?) I’d love to know…

That’s perfect, thank you! I’ve been watching some YouTube vids and it seems most models aren’t all that exact - this should work well on the desk

No it amazes me how many just guess and anything goes for making things. Ideally having an item is best or take square on photos of things, at least gets proportions right.

I’ve done a quick mock up of it, but I’ve also really very quickly learned I have far to go with this kind of thing. Trying to carve out the lip on the front to lift the lid is pretty out there geometry - I’ll take a better look tomorrow but at least this fleshes out the scene a bit
