Found my error! rewatched some videos and discovered that Ben actually clicks “yes” to the “do you want to build it?” when you go to “Start without debugging” for the first time…
I clicked “no” and “dont ask me again” sooooo… when i went to run the program it wasn’t running an updated version… thus none of my code was taking effect!
