Synthanoid, a polished Block Breaker

Hi everyone. Recently finished a relatively polished version of Block Breaker:

Please give it a try. As I was completing the section I always tried to use the Unity docs to do the implementations myself prior to the lesson, then seeing how Rick’s differed.

This approach is really helping me to become self-sufficient.

Your game a bit buggy. But overall its great.

Hey thanks for playing. Yeah the biggest one I noticed is when the ball gets stuck inside the paddle. Much more to learn about colliders and rigid body interactions I think.

I done this couse and in this topic I posted some interesting code so if you want some improvements check it out.(The reflect of ball when it hit paddle, and also prevents ball from going too fast or too slow, also prevents ball from going from wall to wall in endless loop)

Dude honestly this is probably the best one I have played so far. And you’re the 15th one I’m trying out. I looovee the graphics you chose and the music, visuals everything just goes together. There are a couple bugs, like the ball shooting sideways when first launched, but overall dude this game is incredible! Great work you have a lot of potential
