Synchronising camera and third person controller movement in an RPG

Greetings all,

I am working on a third person ARPG and am having issues synchronising the camera with the third person controller when moving using the keyboard. Is there a magical ratio that I should be rotating the camera when rotating the character?

And on another topic, what’s the most effective way to implement strafing into a third person controller?
