Swapped out Standard Asset Ethan for a new model - now floats above the floor

Hey folks,

For a bit of fun I tried swapping out the Ethan model for a new mesh off the asset store (called Simple People).

I’ve got the new player model animating fine and moving around…etc, but I’ve noticed as soon as the game starts it levitates a fair amount off the ground and then goes from there.

Any insight anyone has would be appreicated. Learning about character rigging and the like is still on the ‘to learn list’ for sure, but right now it’s a gap in my experience and understanding. :slight_smile:

Update: I just went ahead and made a new parent object for the mesh parts of the character and then just offset that down. Still not totally ideal, but works fine for now!
