doesn’t super make sure you’re calling the parent function. well, since you removed it from the parent. how does the parent make sure you’re calling its parent function?
It doesn’t. If you remove it, depending on what you remove it from your pawn/actor/component may or may not behave correctly. Usually you want and need it in place as there some situations where things won’t work without it.
