I wish someone would write a GAME that would teach 3d game creation in godot. I know, odd concept, a game that teaches how to write a game in godot but I do believe it would be much simpler for some people to understand the mechanics of 3d godot creation of seen in this way.
To clarify, are you thinking something like what this person did in this 2D game Screeps? Where you would program 3D units in game to do specific things?
I think the polls on here are for Course ideas, and something like that is likely too far advanced compared to the courses for Godot available on here so far (imo). As an idea itself I totally think someone should do it, the Screeps idea was super unique, I only even found it the other day.
It’s pretty niche game market though as you need people who already know a language of coding and then to figure out how to make your game work with and teach that coding in some way. With all the different ways people learn, that could be a huge challenge itself.
I was speaking something along the way the tutorials are generally laid out. Where it starts you out slow, showing what buttons/short cuts are where and what each does, then getting deeper into it as it goes, such as getting into gdscript or using the other langues that are compatible with godot. There are those out there, such as myself, that have learning disabilities and learn easier by doing rather then following tutorials or reading books/following videos. I have about 15 games fully designed in my head that I wish to create but have not found any videos/books I could really follow because of my severe ADHD. But when I do things, I can learn almost anything.
