Stubbornly high poly knight piece

Just wanted to share my knight chess piece - I decided earlier on in the lecture to try and make a high poly set as I already made a kind of a low poly one before, and this was definitely the hardest piece to make, just because of the amount of detail on the face, I used every single thing learned in the course so far to make it. Hope people like it!

Really good high poly knight model!

If you learn sculpting (which isn’t easy also), you have more control over the mesh.
For me, personally, the ears are a bit ‘Human’.
Placed at the side, while a horse has them more on top. And pointy.

But as I said in the first line, it is a very good model!!
You should be proud.

I tried playing with sculpting, but not knowing what any of the options do didn’t work out, and I finally got an idea to just add a big cube in the rough dimensions of the head, and loop cutting it tens of times horizontaly and diagonally and then just moving the individual vertices to achieve the shape.

I thought the ears were a bit off, but couldnt put my finger on it! I will probably fix it before I finish the chess scene, but funnily enough in my reference image it does look the same with ears more human than horse  Knight Reference
