Strike Scene

Here’s my strike scene. Fairly happy in how it came out. Looking forward to learning how to add more texture detail & dirt/wear though, as it all still feels a bit flat.

it’s basically done, by working on the bitmap textures in combination with improved material nodes.

  • Using the paintbrush options and Blender techniques (adding smudges, scratches …)
  • Or using GIMP, Krita, …
  • Download, and copy material definitions found on the web. Working with a bump, glossy, shininess, roughness, etc.

Very good strike image.

Adding layers of textures for dirt and scratches is just more detailed than the beginner course goes into.

Looking forward to moving onto others once I’ve cracked this part - there’s so many ways to do things, should think you’d still not have got through all of them after doing multiple courses!
