Strike Scene

Another strike scene, setting up the scene was quite easy but I spent quite a bit of time moving and rotating the pins, in order to get something that looked correct in terms of the physics, whether I succeeded is arguable but I reached a point where it felt like I was just fiddling around without much return I guess. One thing that I did find was that I was moving the origin on individual pins quite a bit, I noticed that all Mike’s were set to the bottom of the pin, which was the most useful setting, and I think needed to be done by moving the cursor to the bottom and then moving origin to cursor. Since this process depends on the cursor being at the bottom of each pin I think the thing to do is to set the origin BEFORE duplicating the pins, so the process needs to be done only once rather than several times.

Hi, pins can be duplicated. But you can also LINKED duplication (in 2.7.9 Alt+d).
With linked duplication you only have to manage only one pin, to change all duplicates at once.
You can set the origin of a pin to any location you need. It involved the Set Origin command (2.7.9 Shift+Ctrl+Alt+s).

Good point, I had forgotten about linked duplication.
