As per the previous advice to try pressing the period key and changing the brush size and strength, I still can’t sculpt in Blender or zoom in. Any ideas?

Could you provide screen shots of your blender set up, and how it looks when you try to enter sculpt mode? Videos or pictures help us narrow down what small buttons might be triggered that’s causing funny effects.

This is a visual medium, Vast amounts of information to others is in the surrounding panels. Seeing the Blender full screen that you see when you have the issue just might make it an easy Oh that setting is wrong, ok it may not, but we are BLIND to your problem currently.

The screenshot can be done by Blender itself, via the ‘Window’ menu bar top left hand side.
On that menu drop down is ‘save screenshot’.
Close ups additionally where they help.

Do you have Add-Ons installed?
Are you using 3-Button emulation (mac PC)?

Will do screenshots probably tomorrow. I have no add-ons installed, but I’m doing 3-button emulation because I only have a touch pad. I fixed it so I can sculpt, I just can’t zoom in.
