I started this project just to practice mesh modelling but I’m pretty proud of the result. The animation ideas I used from the Mech section. The texturing is very basic (or even lazy, most of them have just generated coordinates without UV mapping). The whole model is about 500k tris (or 200 without the coal pile in the tender lol - I will probably replace it with a generated texture).
I don’t know yet what direction I’ll go with this locomotive now. It can be animated or I can make it more realistic and hi-poly. And it can be exported to Unity without serious errors and holes.
