Start button skips to game over Scene instead of Level 1

I imported the files into unity as is.
I click on Start button, instead of showing the Level 1 Scene, it jumps right to the Game Over Scene.
What could be the problem?

Sounds like your index is not set right can you share screenshots of what you are having issues with

Check build settings too for all the scenes included in the build
