and here’s the node graph. I went with add shader for the sss and different scales for each of the deep/mid/shallow sss nodes.

Showed this to my friend last night and she said “That’s terrifying”
Impressive Node lay-out. But so many? I find coloring, texturing very difficult. I try to keep it simple, manageable.
