Sprite plays full animation before going back to idling

So I noticed my sprite plays the entire Running animation just by tapping a direction key, which causes the sprite to look like they are running in place until the entire animation ends. This is weird, because Rick’s sprite just immediately stops the running animation and begins idling after there’s no input/no velocity, and I don’t know if I fiddled with something I shouldn’t have, or if there’s a default option that’s changed between versions of Unity.

Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Crud. Never mind, I know what I did. I forgot to uncheck ‘Has Exit Time’ and had a moment of insanity over it.
