SpringJoint2D.enable = false does not release the ball

Hi there.
Following the video, _joint.enabled = false; (_joint is my SpringJoint2D) does not release the ball, even if the inspector actually shows that component is disabled. For now I’m disabling the whole game object, but, Does anyone know how to solve this issue?. Thank you

Are there any error messages in the inspector?
