We have solutionned the issue with foot sliding with a controller, because the value from the input is gradually increasing with the joystick inclination.
But what about controlling the character with a keyboard ?
The input value is always the maximum from the get go, so is it possible to fix it ?
That’s orthogonal to the input method used.
You would need animations that work for the max walk speed of the character or do the opposite, set the max walk speed to match the animation’s.
