I ran the Clean Up and identified a track point with a higher than average error of 1.72 px with an overall Solve Error = 0.91 px. When I deleted just that track the overall Solve Error went up to 4.14 px. Screen shots included. What is going on? Shouldn’t removing a higher error track make the Solve Error go down?

Hi, I did an old course version about tracking videos. I had also a lot of problem getting a good stable track. Can’t say in detail what or how, it’s so long ago.
I have also bought this course but have no time to continue.
But this is what I can remember.
- More track points the better the outcome.
- Choose good, high contrast, mark points.
- Try to have mark points scattered over the whole image (yours heavily top left).
- Deleting a track point and it goes up. Undo and delete an other one.

It seems odd for that point to be ‘bad’ as it is the first one Alfie chooses as it looks so good. (Camera tracking 7:40)
Try bigger tracking boxes.
