Slight problem with the bowling scene animation

While animating the bowling scene when I try to add a passive rigid body to the pinsetter to prevent the bowling ball and pin from flying away the pin starts to fly towards the bowling ball and after I remove the rigid body it’s normal again, Why does this happen?

Probably collision boundary issues. Impossible to tell much from a gif.
Why does the structure, pin setter? have any rigid body on it at all?

I put the rigid body on it to prevent the bowling pins and ball from falling off my scene as a way to make it more realistic,
but what do you mean by collision boundary issues?

If that selected big shape has the ordinary convex hull type of collision on it, then the bounding box containing the whole thing is the point of collision. Further these boundaries have a margin that can be raised ot lowered. So items can actually react before the boundary really collides.
