Try to use a soft grey (opacity) pencil.
And draw the shape op top of each other.
Then you will get an improved shape where the lines are overlapping.
Then at last you draw in black using a black line.
Some people will use blue first, then finalize it with black.
That way you can filter out the blue, keeping the black version.
Or use layers…
