Since it’s based on a 2D animated character then there not much to do but to rip two vertices. But I did need to crease some edges since it looked like a weird 4 jaw creature. The eyes still freak me out a bit.

Everything is always hard at first! You got this! I can’t wait to see it look just like the drawing but in 3D!

I think your mesh is inverted. With the normals the wrong way!
