Currently, I try to do the last part of the course with Grease Pencil.

Grease pencil vertex weight proxy + tint modifiers

I saw a tutorial on adding fog in Grease pencil. https://youtu.be/hZz-YA7PNhY The further the grease pencil object is from the camera, the more tint it has. Meaning per depth layer I could use the same black pencil and still get a nice fade out. But it got me in trouble. Instead of working in layers, I needed to change the depth, by changing the 3D cursor (The Y-location to draw on). It works but it’s problematic.
