Should I be worried about controller input?

So in “Unreal 5.0 C++” course, Chapter “Obstacle Assault”, video number 3. Sam fixed a bug about mouse input issue, should I be worried about understanding how it works or will it be covered in the upcoming lectures?

That would be in a future lecture but the bug was simply due to the Unreal Learning Kit having a different names for the mappings than the template project.
