The shortest route was as in the attached, as you can see it gave a right, down pattern. As we’re going from the top and cycling from top to left in a clock-wise manner, you would expect this to be correct as up is negated by the position, right becomes the strongest direction with down as the next strongest. Obvs A,G,C,D,F,K,Z gives the same number of moves but due to the direction or exploration the solution in the attached comes in first.
