Sharp edge on Anime face - cause and how to fix it?

Hello there,
I hope one of you can help me with the sharp edge on the model’s face.

Any suggestions about the cause of this and/or how to fix this artefact would be appreciated.

  • Same approach as @Grant_Abbitt took to create the faces
  • Normals are fine
  • No double vertices / faces

Ok, fixed it, using smooth vertices on the single most outer vertex.

Still, if someone could explain why this happened, this would be Great!

Check the normals are facing outwards.

It might just be the angle you are asking it to smooth was over it’s threshold so it thought it was supposed to be left sharp.
