Setting Up MetaHumans

Hello. This is a wonderful course and I’m enjoying it.

I just wanted to ask this feels a bit lackluster in terms of explaining why we need the skeletal mesh asset and why we need to update the mesh get the children components.

If this could be explained I’d appreciate it a lot!

I’m not entirely sure I understand what you’re asking, but assuming I understand correctly Metahumans are put together with a series of skeletal mesh and other components to make them work. So we can’t just use the single skeletal mesh component in BP_ThirdPerson character for the metahuman assets.
