Setting didn't rebuild VS file

When trying to delete and reset the game I opened up unreal first which rebuild files and I was able to play the game successfully. However there was no visual studio .SLN built. I tried dragging the original file from the backup zip in but that didn’t fix it either. Why would unreal not build out the visual studio files? I am using unreal 4.18.1.

On another side note I have VS2017 and VS2015 and unreal keeps opening files in 2015 seemly randomly while I am working inside VS2017 it will jsut start opening up an instance of 2015 of the file I am already working on in 2017. Any idea on that either?

You need to right click the .uproject file in your project directory and do a “Generate Visual Studio project files”.
