Section 5, Lecture 107: lowered poly count base

I got my lamp base slightly under 800 tris, I also deleted the faces on the base and the bottom of the hole and replaced them each with an N-Gon because they were weirdly intersecting each other and I couldn’t look at it without crying.

Hey. Mine also bugged like that in the bottom, what I did was just merge all the " crazy " vertices that were not in the center, using alt m and choosing at center. If something like that ever happens again, I hope you now know a way of fixing it. But anyway, very good looking base lamp you got here.
