Hi,

Here is my submission:

It seems like you can click and drag the icons in the outliner to re-organize your hierarchy.

For example, in the image, I have dragged the “White Pawns” empty over the “White pieces” empty. ( If I drop at this place the “White Pawns” empty will leave the “White pieces” parent. Once outside you can do the other way around to put the “White Pawns” empty into the parent. )

It does feel more intuitive than going Ctrl+P
